Back in January of this year, Scottish singer Susan Boyle – of “Britain’s Got Talent” fame – returned home to her local authority-owned home late one night, to find an intruder in her home. And according to people.com, police have now confirmed that a teenager has been charged.
A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police in Scotland said “A 16-year old youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a theft that happened at a property in Blackburn.” The incident they were talking about was the theft that occurred at Susan Boyle’s home.

Susan’s reps have apparently issued a statement, thanking the local police for all their help and support. 48-year old Boyle had been recording her part for Simon Cowell’s Haiti charity single “Everybody Hurts” at the time she returned home to discover the unfortunate break-in.
