‘24’ Season 8: Recap of Episode 12

Season 8 of “24” continued last night, with the airing of episode 12. And as usual, it was an exciting episode that was full of action that kept viewers on the edge of their seats. If you didn’t get to watch last night’s episode, we have a quick recap for you now.

In last night’s episode, CTU were closing in on the hotel where Taran was hiding and knowing that her lover is a traitor, Kayla attempted to escape. Taran then grabbed her and fled, and was just getting into a waiting getaway taxi, when Jack and Cole arrived.

Meanwhile, over at CTU, Dana’s imperfect day continued when Kevin Wade’s probation officer, Prady turns up. We then saw Jack visiting Hassan at the U.N., where they see that Samir is holding Kayla hostage. They then put a plastic bag over Kayla’s head.

Samir then demanded “File 33.” Hassan then explained to Jack, what exactly the information is that is contained in “File 33.” And with Prady still hanging around, Dana called Cole – who was with Jack at the time – to tell him that she is going to confess her part.

And getting back to Taran and Samir, Taran started to feel remorse about Kayla being tortured, and tried to escape. But they only managed to get to a waiting car, when one of Samir’s men shot Taran. Kayla managed to get away though, and headed to CTU.

Jack then realized that the car that Kayla was driving was designed to infiltrate CTU in some way. And he was exactly right, because it was fitted with an electromagnetic device. When it went off it took out all of CTU’s electronics, leaving them “blind.”
