Andy Murray’s tears at the 2010 Australian Open final – after he lost to Roger Federer – may well have shown people just how much that moment meant to him, but it also taught the British tennis ace a lesson – that he cannot allow tennis to become an obsession.
Since the Australian Open final, Murray has played only three matches in 6 weeks, and has surrounded himself with the people that he is close to. Andy went on to say that he thinks it’s good to be around people, so he doesn’t over-analyze things or get disappointed.

He also admitted that he doesn’t think about tennis 24/7 like he used to, so feels fresh mentally. Andy is currently playing in the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament in Indian Wells, California, and is due to play against Michael Russell in his third round match.
But according to a report at telegraph.co.uk, Murray focus is more on the 2010 French Open and Wimbledon. “This year I want to be ready for the slams,” Andy said. He then went on to say that he wants to be fresh for them and take a good amount of time off.
