It looks like the case against the Chicago-area man who posted nude videos of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews on the Internet, has finally come to an end. According to people.com, the man was sentenced to 2 ½ years in prison on Monday.
49-year old Michael David Barrett – who filmed Erin through her hotel door – not only received the 2 ½ year prison term, but was also ordered to pay $7,366 in restitution to Andrews, who is a contestant on this year’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

It appears that it had been going on for quite some time as well, with Barrett admitting he had stalked Andrews for 18 months. He had apparently tracked her to at least three different hotel rooms in three different states back in 2008.
While at the hearing, Andrews told U.S. District Judge Manuel L. Real of all the fear, anxiety and public humiliation that she now suffers as a result of the stalking. “I’m being victimized every day…and I did nothing to deserve it,” Erin said.
