If you enjoyed watching James Cameron’s 1997 Oscar-winning movie “Titanic” the first time around – or the second and third times if you’re anything like me – then imagine what it would be like to watch it again, but in 3D this time around.
Yes that’s right folks! According to sky.com, James Cameron – who won an Academy Award for Best Director for the movie back in 1998 – has recently confirmed that he’s bringing back the blockbuster movie, in the spring of 2012.

This he said is to mark the 100th anniversary of the sailing of the ship. But Cameron is warning people that the effects will definitely not be as spectacular as the “Avatar” movie. “It’s never going to look as good as if you shot it in 3D,” Cameron said.
But he said we should think of it as a sort of 2.8D. And it looks like Cameron is not content with just re-releasing “Titanic,” as he also wants to bring back “Avatar” for a second run. If “Avatar” gets a second run, it will include extra footage.
