Corey Haim’s Death and Arrest: Details not revealed

We have some quite shocking news for you right now, as it appears an arrest has been made in connection with the investigation into the death of actor and former teen star Corey Haim. A spokesman for California’s attorney general announced the news on Wednesday.

Attorney General Jerry Brown is not revealing any details about the arrest, according to his office. But the arrest comes very soon after he revealed that pharmacy records show that Corey actually got thousands of dangerous pills from several different doctors over the last year.

It was also announced by Brown last week that Haim’s death was in fact linked to an “illegal and massive prescription-drug-ring.” Corey’s family claim the actor had reduced his drug use to near zero, but Brown said that he didn’t see any zero pill consumption.

Although Ed Winter – Los Angeles County Deputy Coroner – said that 38-year old Haim had pneumonia, an enlarged heart and water in his lungs when he died, a drug overdose still cannot be ruled out until all of the toxicology results have been completed, which could be several weeks.
