The 2010 NCAA College Basketball Tournament kicked off yesterday (Thursday) and as expected, there were some surprising winners and losers. There were a total of 16 games played yesterday, with some of them obviously more exciting than others.
According to an article at media-newswire.com, one of the NCAA 2010 Tournament scores that may well have shocked many fans was the 66-65 upset by Murray State over Vanderbilt, on a last second shot by Danero Thomas just at the buzzer.

Another game that proved to be an interesting one was the very close match-up between Villanova University, and Robert Morris University. The game may well have been quite close throughout, but it was Villanova that came out victorious with 73-70 in overtime.
The Ohio vs. Georgetown was another interesting game. Ohio managed to defeat Georgetown with a final score of 97-83, giving them their first NCAA Tournament win in nearly 30 years. Ohio managed to jump to a 48-36 lead at halftime, helping their win.
And as expected with the 2010 NCAA bracket results, the number one seeded teams both managed to win their games fairly easily. According to hotcappers.com, Kentucky now face Wake Forest in the second round, while Kansas face up against UNI.
