“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” film crew were forced to flee recently, after a blaze destroyed the set. The drama was said to have happened when a special-effects explosion appeared to have gone wrong while filming battle scenes for the latest movie.
According to a report at dailymail.co.uk, a set for the Hogwarts Castle – the school of wizardry where Harry Potter and his friends learn magic in the movies – was reportedly burned down, despite the efforts of the six fire crews who were attending the blaze.

The damage to the set has been estimated at £100,000. Reports say that none of the cast was actually on set when the accident happened at Leavesden Studios, near Watford on Friday night, but around 100 film crew were said to have been present at the time.
Tony Smith – Watford fire brigade commander – said “There is a big battle scene involving a lot of pyrotechnics and explosions. There is a mocked-up castle made of timber, steel and plastic – somehow it caught alight,” about the unfortunate incident.
