NCAA Tournament Bracket Update: Sweet 16 Schedule

I think we can now say that the second round of the 2010 NCAA College Basketball Tournament, is well and truly over. And you know what that means don’t you – it means that the 2010 NCAA Sweet Sixteen teams have now all been decided.

Some of the teams were decided by comfortable margins, while others were decided by the skin of their teeth. Either way, we now know which teams they are. The Regional semi-finals – known as the “Sweet Sixteen” – take place this Thursday and Friday.

According to gather.com, each of those days will see teams qualifying from the West, East, South and Midwest, to advance to the “Elite Eight.” Then over the following weekend, those eight teams will be cut by half to make the “Final Four.”

Some of the teams who advanced to the NCAA 2010 Sweet Sixteen are Duke, Syracuse, West Virginia, Purdue, Ohio State and Cornell. Thursday 25th will feature East and West region games, while Friday 26th will feature games from Midwest and South regions.
