It’s Monday today, so it’s come to that time again to take a quick look at the box office results for the weekend just gone. And it was great news for Tim Burton this weekend, as it appears that his “Alice in Wonderland” movie has managed to top the box office again.
According to a report at examiner.com, “Alice in Wonderland” brought in a hefty $34.5 million this past weekend, helping it to stay in the No.1 spot for a third week. In at second place was a movie called “The Diary of a Wimpy Kid.,” which opened with $21.8 million.

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler’s new movie “The Bounty Hunter” managed to come in third place. Despite the fact that the movie was described as formulaic and disappointing by some critics, it still managed to draw in the audiences and brought in $21 million.
A movie by the name of “Repo Men” came in at No. 4 in box office results, bringing in a mere $6.1 million, while a movie called “She’s Out of my League,” came in 5th place with just $6 million. And in at 6th place in the box office, was Matt Damon’s “Green Zone.”
