Things really aren’t looking good for actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi, after they failed to show up for yet another court date in Santa Barbara, California on Monday. According to sfgate.com, yet more arrests warrants have now been issued.
The court dates are all to do with their ongoing legal battle over an unpaid hotel bill. Both Randy and his wife Evi have been charged with failing to settle a $10,000 bill, after staying at the luxury San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara in September last year.
Randy and Evi have both been accused of burglary, and defrauding an innkeeper. The two ignored five orders to appear in court in 2009, before finally pleading not guilty to all charges back in December. They were then released on $40,000 bail.
The Quaids have had several warrants issued for their arrests over past no-shows at court dates. However, each one was later quashed. You would have thought that Randy and his wife would just want to come forward, and sort all the mess out.
