The Amazing Race 16: Recap of Leg 10

There may not have been an episode of “The Amazing Race 16” last week, but that really didn’t matter last night as it returned with a bang. Last night’s episode covered leg 10 of the race, and featured not one but two roadblocks – a first for the reality TV show.

Last night’s episode saw the remaining teams make their way from Singapore, to the People’s Republic of China. Roadblock number one brought them to a village called Zhujiajiao – also known as the “Venice of China – where they had to make noodles by hand.

That task appeared to be a bit of a breeze for Jet, of the Cowboys. The next Roadblock took them to the Hongkou Football Stadium, where the teams had to solve a giant puzzle and then distribute the arranged pieces to the spectators by the bleachers.

In between the roadblocks came a task, which saw the contestants take a trip to Shanghai’s Fashion District. Once there they had to pick out the exact clothes outlined in a sketch, for a model to wear. At the end of this, the Cowboys Jet and Cord were in 1st place.

And in second place this week were Brent and Caite, who finally became the strong racers that they should be. Caite was the team member who did the noodle Roadblock. She may well have got her noodles all tangled up, but the time advantage saved them.

Brothers Dan and Jordan and the detectives Louie and Michael weren’t so lucky this week, and unfortunately ended up playing together. However, they got a lucky break this week, as leg 10 was a non-elimination leg. You can read the full recap at buddytv.com.
