The ninth season of “American Idol” has not even come to a close yet, but it appears that the dates for the season 9 “American Idol Live Tour” have already been announced. This will give fans a chance to see all their favorites perform again, in a town close to them.
According to a recent article at buddytv.com, the concerts kick off on July 1st at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan. There will be a total of 49 concerts, and the very last one will be taking place at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Most tickets will be going on sale on May 15th. The “American Idol Live Tour” will also visit places such as the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia on July 11th, the Jiffy Lube Live in Washington D.C. on July 23rd and the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH on September 11th.
