Stephen Baldwin: Bailout Needed and Website Launched

It isn’t really a secret that actor, born-again Christian and former “Celebrity Big Brother” participant Stephen Baldwin has got financial troubles. And now it appears that a website has been set up, to raise money for the financially troubled star.

The site is called RestoreStephenBalwin.com and according to a report at nationalledger.com, was launched by his fans. It features testimonials from pastors and other religious figures, but apparently has no ties to the 43-year old “The Usual Suspects” actor.

Stephen Baldwin: Bailout Needed and Website Launched

According to the site, Baldwin’s income went down by 70 percent after he became an outspoken Christian, because of refusing roles that involved gratuitous sex and violence. The site urges his fans to help him financially, so he can continue his influence.

Everybody needs mony these days, If the good cristians that support his views want to donate that is their rignt, but lets get serious folks and if you call yourself christians then donate to the homeless, foodbanks, shelters and other various respictable charities. Why donate to someone who has to ability to eat every day, have lodging and the oppertunities alot of americans do not have at this time. This type of solicitatiobn makes me want to rethink these christians that support this and their values. Lets face it Baldwin blew it. its not that he did not have the chance to mend his ways before it had gone to far, why did he not change his life style when he had the chance so that he could truly live his humble christian beliefs. He gets no sympayhy from me.

No one should be singled out because of his/her religous beliefs, race. But since it happened , he shoud try to get a job and not depend on handouts. I'm sorry , but that's what the rest of us do, so is he any different. He could also sell alot of the luxuries he has I'm sure he has some that are valuable.

You have got to be kidding me. A Baldwin having financial troubles, whopty shit. Everyone has money problems. Whats wrong with him he can't pay for his 600.00 pants or what. You people are stupid, giving him money. I've heard it all. I need 5,000.00 dollars but I'm going on the enternet and ask for money. The homeless needs money too. What is wrong with you FU22ING PEOPLE.

  • Tom

Are you kidding me. Let him sell his house move into a smaller one or an apartmnet and maybe just maybe he could find a job that pays better to secure his future. Why should anyone bail out this man because of the choices in life he has decided to make. I find this completely insane.

  • Mona

Are you kidding me? There are millions of American out of work in this country, bankrupt, no health insurance,
no place to live, one step from the streets….have they set up a web site for them to receive donated money
to help them??? I think not…..this borders on criminal!

  • Linda Stone

Hey Stephen, Get an F#@&!$& job! We're laying off teachers becasue of the economical state of the nation and you blew millions and now the general public should pay for your elaborate life style? I'm sure God will not mind if you pay your own bills.

  • Rod

So…..we are expected to bail out a once multi-millionaire who obviously can't manage his bank account. This is a man who made enough money at one time to be set for life, should he have had some financial management. Why don't we all set up websites, asking to bail us out and then none of us will need to take responsibility for our own financial decisions. We can just roll around in piles of cash, taking vacations to silly islands participating in some reality bulls&!t. When are we as a society going to hold people accountable and stop "saving" these primadonnas from their own fate. I have to face my own fate everyday, accepting whatever consequences I must face based on those decisions. Why is this guy getting special treatment when there are plenty of other people in this world who would benefit more appropriately from our collective charity. Anyone remember Katrina victims?, Haiti?, homeless families? Let this guy get a life and figure it out for HIMSELF!!!!! -Pissed in Colorado

  • Rick

    GET A JOB!

  • Jake

Are you serious? If he is as outspoken a Christian as you proclaim, he'll never accept a dime of your money. I wonder where it will go?

  • Grandma

OMG !!! GET A JOB….. IT IS NOT ANYONE ELSE'S FAULT YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEND YOUR MONEY….

ANYONE THAT HELPS HIM NEEDS HELP TOO !!!!!

  • Rick

Has he thought about looking for another line of work?

  • realmrider

I think the fact that Stephen Baldwin an only marginally-talented actor is the more likely reason that he's been having such "difficulty". And also, before his religious "epiphany" he's (arguably) only gotten many of his roles because of the Baldwin name. Of course, that's just my opinion. Maybe I should rent "Bio-Dome" and re-think my opinion? (Or not… ; p )
