It looks like Cheryl Cole’s fans may just have to refer to her by a different name entirely soon. According to a recent report at unrealitytv.co.uk, Cheryl is apparently considering dropping her married name, when she releases her new album later on this year.
Whether she will be marketing herself as Cheryl Tweedy – her maiden name – or even following in the footsteps of Madonna and having just one name, the singer and “X Factor” judge is said to be determined not to be known as Mrs Cole anymore.

A music industry source spoke to The Mirror recently, and said “Now she’s made the decision her marriage to Ashley is over Cheryl wants to move on.” They went on to say that the name change would be the final thing that she feels she has to do, before the divorce.
“She’s numb about the marriage ending but knows she needs to pick herself up. Throwing herself into work is how she’s coping,” the source said. Cheryl is currently supporting The Black Eyed Peas on tour. What do you think of her changing her name?
