Simon Cowell is best known to people as the cranky, but brutally honest judge on shows such as “American Idol,” “X Factor” and “Britain’s Got Talent,” but there is a possibility that people might have to start referring to him as Sir Simon Cowell.
Yes, you did read correctly!! According to a recent article at ecanadanow.com, Simon Cowell was recommended for knighthood recently, by the former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown for his contributions to the music industry.

British tabloid The Daily Mirror is said to have broke the news, that Simon Cowell is to be knighted on June 12th, during Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday celebrations. The Queen’s birthday, is said to be one of only 2 times a year that she honors people with knighthood.
Simon once joked that he had “zero chance” of ever being knighted, but if the latest reports are true, then he was very wrong. And no doubt he is over the moon if it is true. What do you think about Simon Cowell being up for knighthood?
