When I say the name General Larry Platt, most of you will know exactly who I am going on about. But for those of you who don’t, he’s the guy who auditioned for the ninth season of “American Idol” with his very own song, which was called “Pants on the Ground.”
General Larry Platt’s popularity soared, after his Atlanta audition and that infamous song. And as reported by Carina MacKenzie at zap2it.com, the 63-year old civil rights activist returned to perform the song once more, during last night’s season 9 finale.

Platt was joined by another familiar face from past “American Idol” auditions: William Hung. And for those of you who don’t remember him either, he sang a pretty awful rendition of Ricky Martin’s “She Bangs.” What a send off to Simon Cowell hey!!
Their performance will definitely go down in “American Idol” history. Both Platt and Hung were joined on stage by some dancers, who were quite happy to drop their jeans at the end of the song. You can watch the video of his performance below the post.
