Former child star Gary Coleman – best known for playing the role of Arnold Jackson in “Diff’rent Strokes” – has just been hospitalized recently and is now said to be in a critical condition, with what his family describes as a “serious medical condition.”
As reported by The Associated Press, Janet Frank, the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Spokeswoman, confirmed that 42-year old Coleman had been admitted to the Provo facility on Wednesday, but unfortunately could not give out any more details.

Coleman’s attorney, Randy Kester, said that he had communicated with Coleman’s wife Shannon Price by text message very recently, and said that the family did not want to release any additional information at this moment in time.
“Anything they could say would be premature because they don’t know the full extent of his condition right now,” Kester told the AP. Price and her father released a statement to KUTV-TV on Thursday, saying that Gary had been taken to hospital with a “serious medical condition.”
We will update you if we get any more information.
