Susan Sarandon Creating Reality Show about Table Tennis

It looks like American actress Susan Sarandon – best known for movies such as “Thelma & Louise,” “The Client,” “Enchanted” and “Lovely Bones” – is all prepared to turn her passion for table tennis into a new reality television show.

According to a recent article at ndtv.com, the 63-year old star is currently in the process of making an episodic documentary all about table tennis professionals, which includes young players who have dreams of making it to the Olympics, Hollywood.com reports.

Speaking about the new show, Sarandon said: “We’re just in the early filming stages now. I’m not sure where we’re going to land in terms of our home because we want the tone of it (show) to be funny and quite different from anything else that anybody’s seen before.”

The Hollywood actress is also said to be an investor in SPiN club in Manhattan, which was launched back in September of last year and offers fans of table tennis a place to just hang out and perfect their playing skills. Will you be watching the show when it airs?
