DJ Tiesto Dead: Internet Rumors Proved False

Dutch musician and DJ Tiesto appears to have become the latest victim of a celebrity death rumor, after reports began surfacing online that claimed he had died in a car accident. The rumors were proved false however, when Tiesto emerged on Twitter.

According to Princess Shaw at headlinerwatch.com, various celebrity news websites reported that he had toppled his car, while driving at the speed of 80 in California. Some websites even said: “The service is said to be a closed casket funeral due to the severe head trauma.”

But Tiesto – whose albums include “Kaleidoscope” and “Just Be” – soon appeared on his Twitter account, and posted a message that read: “It’s nice to read that people care about my life. Thank you for all the support. It’s good to be alive and get so much love from you xx”
