Reality TV star Snooki – real name Nicole Polizzi – appears to have landed herself in a bit of trouble with the law recently, after she was arrested on Friday for disorderly conduct. However, a US Weekly report claims that the “Jersey Shore” star was released later that day.
According to a recent article at foxnews.com, the 22-year old star appeared to be intoxicated, as the police arrested her. Thomas J. Boyd – Seaside Heights chief of police – told the magazine that Snooki had been acting in a disorderly manner, while on the beach on Friday.
“Miss Polizzi was escorted from the beach by patrolmen and placed under arrest for disorderly conduct…near the boardwalk,” he said, adding that she was then transported to the police headquarters where she was later released on a summons.
The cast of the popular MTV reality show scheduled to be in Seaside Heights this week, to film the show’s third season. Over 5.3 million people tuned in to watch the season 2 premiere of “Jersey Shore” on Thursday night, which is a 300% increase on season one’s premiere.
