Cheryl Cole to Keep Married Name: Won’t Return to Tweedy

Ever since it was announced that singer Cheryl Cole had split with her footballer husband Ashley Cole, rumors have been circulating that she was going to change her name back to Tweedy. However, that doesn’t appear to be the case, as she will now keep her married name.

According to a recent article at entertainmentwise.com by Helen Sanders, Cheryl has decided to keep her last name as it is, despite the imminent divorce from Ashley. A report in British newspaper The Sun claimed that Cheryl will release her next solo album under Cole.

    If i were Cheryl I would definately change back to my maiden name, as I wouldn't want to be reminded of the
    loser that I used to love every time I have to sign something! .. But if thats what Cheryl wants..then thats up to her! :) x

    She obviously cannot let go of Ashley by keeping his name, what a mug!!!!!!! She would still be as successful with the name Tweedy who is she trying to kid!!!! Not me!!!!

    Makes sense for her. Cole sounds so much better than Tweedy. The name tweedy sounds so seedy! he he. In any case she gained fame as Ashley wife and as a WAG. Now that she has her own momentum going she may survive although I'm sure she will miss the glamour of being a WAG!!

    Cherl should change her name back to tweedy,the only reason she want to keep the name cole because she want to be famous with out the name she is nothing so that her excuse to keep his name,,and anothtr thing if she getting divorce why keep his name she will not beeem married to him.And if ashley want to mary again the wife will have his name,good luck to him i hope he find some 1 better than her.
