Leonardo DiCaprio Attacker Faces Trial in Los Angeles

40-year old Aretha Wilson – the woman accused of assaulting “Inception” star Leonardo DiCaprio during a Hollywood party in 2005 – is now facing trial in Los Angeles, and could well face up to seven years in prison if she is convicted of the attack.

According to a recent bbc.co.uk article, Wilson is accused of sneaking into the party that DiCaprio was attending, and attacking him with a broken bottle. Police say that Ms. Wilson had mistaken the actor – who required several stitches following the attack – for an ex-boyfriend.
