GTA 5 release anticipation and speculation
The anticipation for a Grand Theft Auto 5 release date or even some details on the launch quarter is creating a lot of speculation, which led to an apparent map leaking earlier today, which some people feel is fake.
Each week we’re trying to keep up with the amount of GTA 5 rumors in the hope that some details are solid, and may lead to concrete news. Sadly we haven’t had much luck apart from the recent trailer, although that only added to the speculation including a possible May 24th release.
Two more blogs are pushing their insight today. One of these blogs is Crystal Gamer that lists the latest speculation and information coming to light after the trailer. These rumors include the possibility of dogs, a less urban setting, and certain mini games. Read all their thoughts and speculation in this article.
The second blog post is by Zombie Gamer, which is a lot more insightful with a look at what may make GTA 5 one of the more “anticipated games” for 2012, if the game launches next year, which is expected. They look at the good and bad, the tech, possible gameplay, characters and cities. You can read their detailed post here.
We continue to read and find apparent leaks, although we wonder what our readers think of these rumors and the insight from the above two posts. Let us know in the comments.
Our expectations for Grand Theft Auto V are massive, although the little things are just as important. Rockstar please give us more homes to enter, with lots of little items to pick up, and a few tips can be taken from Skyrim here.

well rockstar havent gave a date so it could be anytime lol but they gave us a trailer so lets just say 1 or 2 years time and its preety obvs is set in san andreas lol cause on the trailer the bugstars van look wer it says on side lol and i wonder which gta game that state is in ummm i wonder its obvs san andreas lol and i doubt we will be playin as cj as he will be an old man but maybe someone whos been drawn into gang life in san andreas and cj might be an old G which see's this young man and shows him the ropes on how to sort all hes problems out or sumat like that lol but i hope they bring bak sum san andreas features like goin gym and doin ya car up rate good and vein able to purchase loads of different clothes n stuff and i highly doubt it will be comin out on next gen consoles cause im sure they would make it pretty clear a new console is comin out seen as tho every fucker goes crazy for it and must buy one like the day they come out haha
It will be out this year.. There wouldn't be so much hype about it if it was a year or two away from coming out. I been playing GTA since '97.

GTA5 will be released on the PS4 in 2013 and not earlier, hence the delay since GTA4.
GTA V will sure not come out on next Gen it's to far away . No new console's has been announced and GTA V has already been . Maybe they will be a HD version For the ps4 and New xbox But it's to early for a next gen

if you would like, you can look at gta's release history, everyone says that the game comes out like 2 years after the game is announced, however, the game also happens to come out just about a year after the trailer comes out. gta has never released a trailer so soon after the announcement before, so that could mean rockstar is going to head in a different direction and release this one a little earlier.
Actually you're wrong. GTA IV came out a year after the first trailer. but GTA SA, VC, And III all came out within 3 months of the first trailer

i doubt they got the trailer footage from a five month old game. good try though sunshine.
I doubt they would have made the trailer if they were only 5 months into making the game. It's not enough time to make the city, characters and action depicted on the trailer, especially with the graphics shown. You are not related to anyone who works for Rockstar. 5 months with all the stuff shown in the trailer and with the quality of the graphics is not possible. You really need to calm down and think before you speak (or in this case post).
Jeez i hope this is happening in San Andreas! Liberty City and Vice City had their turn. Now it's time for SA! Whos with me?
It was confirmed that it'll be in San Andreas, plus the trailer has the "Vinewood" sign and other scenes showing its in San Andreas.

Dan Houser of R* confirmed in an interview that having fans speculate and guess on whats in-store for GTA V is exactly what he and R* wants. Houser mentioned that he wants that "magical" feeling for gamers to grasp ideas of what GTA V has to offer. If you really break-it-down, having gamers anticipate and hope what GTA V will look like and how it will play makes business sense. R* is not going to reveal anything, anytime soon. At least, not a the moment. If there is word on any legit news on GTA V release date, expect an announcement during next month Video Game Awards (December 10) on Spike TV. For the mean time, it's best that fans of GTA wait until R* confirms official word concerning GTA V.
Finally someone speaking sense. We need factual information, all the speculation is misleading and aggravating. I have a pretty good idea of what I imagine GTA V will be like and more than likely it will live up to that, but for now I will wait for official news from R* games rather than chancing these futile articles which are often fabricated to trigger a response such as the one I am giving now lol

it looks like a nice game
I saw that to, I keep on saying on these so called analasis vids on youtube about it yet none of them have ever picked up on the pleisure pier being in the game apart from that poster of it allong the boardwalk. In SA there were rides at the end of that pier, not sure about a roller coaster but there were rides from what i remember. As for the glory hole theme park i think that was supposed to be based in Las Venturas but im not 100% sure about that.
No blog has yet to pick up on my Roller coaster siting yet. Is it me or in the picture of the beach with the exercise equipment if you look far off in the distance behind the trees in the right you can see a roller coaster. Which means the amusement park which was mentioned several times on the radio stations in GTA San Andreas will physically exist this time around. Hopefully they've build a whole lot off the code for the small amusement park they had on the boardwalk in Liberty City, which looks like they did, cause this roller coaster looks massive. Is there a Roller coaster on the water in LA, I know they have the Boardwalk rides and stuff, but is their a big Roller Coaster? Cause in that case they'll be basing it off real one, and if not it'l be fictional part, but it clearly looks like Roller Coaster Tracks.
