Free Diablo 3: Reward for WoW users

World of Warcraft fans will be pleased to know that those who have a WoW season pass will be rewarded with a free copy of the upcoming Diablo 3. As users eagerly await details on an official release date, we have some information on how to take advantage of this offer.

In an article on Examiner, there is news for those who registered a full version of WoW on or before October 18th, 2011 will be able to benefit with this great offer from Blizzard. Users will firstly have to create a free Battle.net account and merge it with their World of Warcraft account/UserName. The next step is to sign up for the WoW annual pass and receive Diablo 3 free.

Free Diablo 3: Reward for WoW users

The annual pass is a one-year World of Warcraft subscription payable in monthly installments. Requirements include a valid credit card and registered a full version of World of Warcraft within the date stated. Participants must be 18 or older and as soon as it is available, users will be able to download and play Diablo 3.

As far as Technorati know, Diablo 3 will be accessible some time in the first quarter of this year. Those who have played previous titles will have to go up against the so-called Lesser Evils, Belial and Azmodan after the demise of Diablo himself in the 2001 sequel. As users search for the Black Soulstone this version will feature an almost fully interactive 3D environment that is expected to run more smoothly than the last editions.

A report on ten years in the making talks about the richness in graphics, new armor upgrades, abilities and skills involved, including the multiplayer gaming service Battle.net, where players without the time to upgrade a wanted weapon can actually purchase it with real-world money from another digital warrior with the option to keep the money in the virtual world. New classes of warriors including the magical witch doctor will be involved along with the favored character-class modification.

Below we have a Diablo 3 cinematic exclusive intro for you to look at. What changes are you expecting in this new version? Apparently, the attention to detail even shows bugs, rats and other critters scampering around.

The title of this article made me laugh. I have commonly thought that games are played, but the title of this article ‘Free Diablo 3: Reward for WoW users’ makes it seem as if WoW isn’t a game that is played, but rather a game (or drug) that is used. I’ve known several people that are addicted to WoW, and I believe the title of this article to be accurate. WoW is a drug that is used by a lot of people. :)
