Searching for possible clues to Skyrim DLC has become something to pass the time while fans wait patiently, and this would include finding invisible walls in the world of Skyrim, which some players think could lead to a new area when the downloadable content arrives. Others feel these are just parts of the map that line up with other places like Morrowind and Hammerfell, and nothing more than that.
We spoke about one of these invisible walls before, which lined up well with Morrowind although there is also something similar between Falkreath (Skyrim) and Elinhir (Hammerfell). You can see a map below this article that shows the different areas; have a look to see the closest connections to Skyrim.

What about the age appeal of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? It’s expected that most Skyrim players are young, feel free to share your age, but some people are playing Skyrim above the age of 60, and a little test was recently done to see how this age group responds to the world of Skyrim.
Nick Breckon, the community manager at Bethesda, decided to ask his 65-year-old mom to play Skyrim and while she did this Breckon tweeted her reactions to the popular RPG. You can see her exact statements on this Twitter account, although some gamers are debating how authentic these statements are. It seems some Skyrim fans find it hard to believe 65 year-olds speak like this, although there are those that explain their parents pick up many modern slang terms.
Have a read via @Skyrimmom and share your thoughts on her reaction to Skyrim, and the age appeal this game offers. It’s our opinion that Skyrim works for all ages, although the real issues come with those that cannot get on with certain RPG games, and prefer something like a “run and shoot” FPS game.
What Skyrim DLC is on your wish list, and do you think the type of DLC changes by age? We wonder what “Skyrim Mom” would want for DLC, although we did see she likes to “chase butterflies and pick flowers“.
Revisiting the potential for Skyrim DLC leads us to some really nice ideas, most would never happen, and we like the idea of new Skyrim shouts that support stealth players, although we know other players want shouts that let you jump higher, shout armor off enemies and even crazy ideas like flying on a dragon. Do you have ideas for shouts as DLC?
There is still some ill feeling over the Xbox 360 getting DLC first, although we’re sure other companies are not that bothered that Microsoft keeps throwing money around like water for exclusive deals. The Xbox 360 gamer benefits, which is a good thing for them, but we wonder how PS3 gamers feel after waiting ages for DLC only to wait a little longer than the 360?
Feel free to join in the debate over Skyrim Creation Kit usability vs. functionality, and do you plan on joining the Skyrim Modder community?
