Mass Effect 3 catch-up preceding release date
As the release date for Mass Effect 3 draws ever closer, we thought you would like to know what has been happening before the big day, which as you may or may not know is March 6th for the US and the 9th for Europe. First up we thought you might like a little insight into the voice actors in the latest game from the series. The video below lets you in on what really goes into the voice over work, and it’s not as fun as it may sound.
When actors do voice over work for movies such as Shrek or Toy Story they have some freedom; this is not the case with games though, as they have to stick to a script, which doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Anyway, it’s well worth watching. We recently discussed some of the reasons why you should buy Mass Effect 3, with the most obvious being the welcome changes from ME2.
EA is all set to begin promoting the new version of Mass Effect very soon, by offering you the chance to get some ME3 content on the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo on January 17 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Attack of the Fanboy explains how you can you unlock the N7 Armor but also the Omniblade Daggers, which can then be played in the Mass Effect 3 demo.
If that was not enough information to help you catch-up with what is going on with EA’s upcoming game, then maybe knowing what different modes there will might just do it? There are three modes in all; these are action, role-playing and story. This article looks at how these different modes will affect how you progress in the campaign, as these are simply difficulty levels.
Back in November ME3 was still four months from release, but we were still able to gain some insight into some of the games details, thanks to an interview with Jesse Houston, the producer of the game. Finally we would like to draw your attention to a little history lesson, something that UGO has come up with. The article looks at the complete history of Mass Effect, so you can prepare yourself for the new mission. Think of this as a mission briefing, as it’s full of valuable details – well if you are a fan of the series. Well, that’s all we have for now, but we will keep you informed once we have new information.
