Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will have plenty to offer by the time of its Xbox and PS3 release in the UK on the March 23rd, and we are interested to see what is expected along with news on weapons and multiplayer modes.

CVG has information regarding pre-order bonuses, as added weapons are the main treat with multiplayer additions. Fans will be able to receive an Elite weapons package via Amazon that contains a Tactical Combat Sub-machine gun and a Perforator shotgun on all pre-orders up to the 22nd of March. A long-barreled anti-material rifle will be available through GameStation and GAME and your local independent retailer should also have a Renegade weapons load-out containing a hefty Cowboy shotgun and cool looking flame-emblazoned machine pistol.

In a report on WorthPlaying there are details on the new multiplayer modes with a fresh style not familiar with the gameplay in previous games. An authentic triple threat battle involving Bio-Organic Weapons and Zombies will be in store, as players will compete with each other as well as the other elements. Challenge in a four-player co-op or play solo as well as online multiplayer modes that include US Special Ops, the Umbrella Security Service and the other two factions.

In addition, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will deliver a number of competitive online multiplayer modes. New footage is mentioned from in the latest gameplay video showing locations like Kendo’s Gun Shop and number three’s Stagla gas station. Resident Evil Outbreak and Nemesis are also expected including many scenarios, confirmed and unconfirmed weapons all listed on this site.
