We thought it would be a good idea to let Street Fighter X Tekken fans in on some of the latest news on the characters you may expect to see in the upcoming crossover fighting game.
A report on ShackNews writes about there not being any Xbox-exclusive characters yet the PlayStation title will have some and the PS Vita game could contain Mega Man and Pac-Man. It looks like Cole from Infamous, Toro and Kuro from Japanese exclusive Mainichi Issho will be involved on the PlayStation, although Producer Yoshinori Ono has said that it is up to Microsoft whether they want to add more content to their game. Therefore, at the moment it seems as if Sony will be the ones with the additional content on their titles.
When it comes to what characters they would like to see Yoshinori Ono said Gears of War’s Marcus Fenix and Master Chief were a couple that they wanted but it was too hard in terms of maintaining the flexibility of the character. MTV Geek talks about the announcement update from Capcom on the characters that were generally expected with six familiar faces, three from either side. On the Namco Bandai team Xiaoyu, Law and Paul and on the side of Capcom the villains are Juri, Vega and Balrog will be joining the line-up.
New images of Raven have been seen recently and he will be a cool character although there is intrigue as to whether this will coincide with 2D aspect of move sets that relied on getting around the challenger in Tekken 5 and its sequel. Having Marshall Law back will be welcomed especially with his moves along with Guile and Paul even though the similarities with Ken and Paul will be interesting.
