It’s no secret that there has been a big push to get MW3 players to join the Elite service, which costs a fee and can benefit the user if they love to purchase most downloadable content for Call of Duty games. Today is the big day for the first MW3 DLC, which sees an early release for Elite members.
You can see Activision’s latest marketing push in a video below this article, which uses words like “noobs” and kicking more butt in Elite to relate to the gamer. If you plan to get all four MW3 map packs then the $50 fee for Elite seems is a no brainer. Watch the video below and let us know what you think of Activision’s campaign, and the benefits Elite provides.

We’ve embedded a timeline (thanks to these guys) below this article as well, which shows you when the MW3 DLC is due if you don’t join Elite, and this also takes into account the delay thanks to Xbox 360 exclusivity.
If you cannot play the new downloadable content for whatever reason, then you might want to check out the reactions via a live stream. Thanks to this article you can watch the popular gaming blog play the new maps (Piazza and Liberation), and this will include live commentary.
Have you started to play the new MW3 DLC? Xbox 360 owners with the Call of Duty Elite service know it’s DLC release time starting today, so if this is you then feel free to give us your reactions on the new content.
