Insight into God of War 4 development possibility

The eyes of Kratos above come from the God of War series and anyone who has played these games will know that they revolve around Greek mythology, where Kratos and the Titans attack Mount Olympus in a bid to kill Zeus and the Olympian Gods. Apparently, there is a chance that God of War IV may be in development and we are intrigued to find out more.

If this is so, it will be the seventh game in the series and DualShockNexus has a report on whether Sony accidentally let God of War IV out of the bag. A short time ago a Tester Season 3 promo was shown and it looks like Santa Monica Studios are developing a new God of War title, only by looking extremely close there are signs that this could be God of War IV. Although the previous development footage of God of War III is apparent, there is still a chance that this may have been a premature release mistake by Sony.

Insight into God of War 4 development possibility

Using footage from God of War III in a promo may seem a bit strange yet The Tester Season 3 was filmed in 2011 so the promos for the show must have been filmed late last year, this theory comes from the Christmas lights placed around the Santa Monica Studios. Maybe the older footage is just what it is or it could be adapted to the new God of War game. Blurry images on the video make it look like there is something to hide, could this be a new edition, what do you think?

As the rumor mill keeps turning, IGN has an update from Sony that there have been no announcements this involves the speculation surrounding Syphon Filter 4 and God of War IV. Rumors have been doing the rounds for both games on various websites and this continues as a Syphon Filter title could be on its way to the PS Vita. There is also news that a retailer in New Zealand could of let us in on the new God of War game by accident back in November.

What do you make of the speculation surrounding God of War IV? Could the video just contain nothing but old footage?
