Wii U system seller gamers

We have known for sometime that Assassin’s Creed III was coming and yesterday Ubisoft released more details and a trailer, as well as the fact that the game will also be coming to the Wii U. It’s no secret that this console has big shoes to fill and will need some big system seller games and we have to say the title mentioned above is just one.

It will be interesting to see what Assassin’s Creed 3 (view trailer) will be able to bring to the Wii U in terms of being different to PS3 and Xbox 360, but one thing we do know and that’s the fact the user will be more involved and that the graphics will be better on Nintendo’s console – well that’s the hope.

All the rumors we have heard regarding the specs of the Wii U does show that this version of A3 will be better than rival consoles, but then again the PS3 was said to have much better hardware than the 360 and still many gamers believe Microsoft’s console to be the better of the two, but that’s just an opinion.

Another game that’s a must for the Wii U has to be the next Call of Duty title, which we suspect will be called Black Ops 2. While MW3 does not feel that great on the current Wii with the improved graphics and gameplay experience this game will surely help Nintendo shift more units of their upcoming console?

What better way to test out the new hardware than with Crysis 2, not only would this be a great addition to the Wii U but it would also please some hardcore gamers as well? A new Smash Bothers title is a must because a new version of this has been released on every new console Nintendo has since the N64, and it’s probably going to happen.

One game that slipped past the current Wii is Skyrim and this would be an excellent game to show off those new specs, it would also show that Bethesda is a team player by making it available on another platform; this would please many gamers and could be a huge boast for Nintendo.

Our final game that needs to be on the Wii U has to be Batman: Arkham City because it’s a game that has it all and is crying for a resale on yet another console. The new controller will bring something unique to the game and so should alleviate fears that it will be over a year old if it’s released on Nintendo’s upcoming console.

There are so many other great games that would help the Wii U but only a handful will be system sellers but what titles would you consider are a dealbreaker for you?

I would guess there will be NO Skyrim on Wii U but Fallout 4 maybe a possibilty. Imagine the pipboy being your controller for real!

Batman is on its way, as is Smash Bros. I agree with many other we need to know what Nintendo games are coming with this system as they have revealed none!

I will guess at Mario Kart, some sort of Mario Galaxy Sequel, Pikmen 3 and either Zelda or Metroid (it won’t be both as they will save one)

I would Like to see Waveracer, Starfox, F-Zero and 1080 sequels but that maybe me just being hopeful!

Of course I ain’t mentioned any major old school titles that could make a come back like:- Luigi’s Mansion and Kid Icurus (with both appearing on 3ds why not a big brother copy), kirby, golden sun, Advance Wars, pokemon, fire emblem and Animal crossing. And then Shigsy said he is working on something brnad new as well.

If we see 20% of the list above in year 1 I would be very happy

Wait what… PROBABLY? No it is coming to the Wii U, Nintendo confirmed this at e3 last year. They also confirmed that it’s going to be coming to the 3DS.

I really have no dealbeakers for me. That controller is enough reason for me to buy the Wii U day one. Although if Rock Start was nice they’d try to release GTA V for Wii U as a launch title, I’d buy it day one with at least one other (probably) 1st party, Nintendo, game.

“Smash Bothers”? No, I don’t think it bothers me. And the writing in this article is generally atrocious.

Agree on the writing, total amateur hour … and just sappy illogical.

Batman Arkham City is confirmed. Smash Bros. game is in development but will take a few years.

Well I plan on getting a Wii U from day one anyways, but games that would ensure my solid suport of the system that hasn’t yet been announced would have to be F-Zero, Castlevania, Metroid, Starfox, Grand Turismo, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Tales of (insert name)

Other games I would like to see reborn, remade, or remasterd for Wii U would be; Lufia, Legend of Mana, Contra, Blaster Master, Battle of Olympus (god of war exclusive challenger), Jurassic Park, a more mature and darkerTMNT, Jet Force Gemini, Solar Jetman. There’s more but those games remade would make me jiz in my pants, no doubt though a scary FPS Jurrasic Park in 1080p@60 fps would be well admired on my part.

Same here if the pricing is reasonable and the games available aren’t just ports.
