Analysts on GTA 5 and upstaging E3
Some people believe GTA 5 will make an appearance at E3 2012, at least in mention during the Sony Press Conference, and while this is just fan hearsay we’re seeing analysts making judgments on how GTA 5 could upstage many games due to be showcased at this years event.
We’d welcome any news on the next Grand Theft Auto game and if this means bringing that news one day before E3, then so be it. Michael Pachter is putting his head on the block with this prediction and feels it’s a perfect opportunity for Rockstar, although it wouldn’t be the first time Pachter got something wrong. He also made an October prediction for the GTA 5 release date, and in our opinion he couldn’t be more wrong.
Why would you launch Grand Theft Auto V in October? First of all you could count on the next GTA game topping other games in the crowded launch month, and these include Resident Evil 6, Bioshock Infinite, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and Assassin’s Creed 3. Then we wonder why Rockstar would want to launch GTA 5 right next to Bioshock Infinite, and even if the game could top all others it would certainly stand more chance of record sales in April 2013.
Stealing the show without being at E3 – In our opinion it would be a good move to release more GTA 5 details before E3, and it doesn’t matter if they’re not at the event, because fans want the details and getting them online will shift a lot of focus towards the next GTA rather than other games at E3 2012. Do you think Rockstar are too cool for E3 or should they be at the event?
Our prediction – you can count on more details this year and most likely before E3 2012, although you should count on a release date early next year and most likely in April. Launching GTA 5 this year would be a mistake, and while we can’t wait for the next Grand Theft Auto we’d predict more success with a launch early next year thanks to the crowded October and November months.

GTA V will be coming to all consoles and PC, rockstar would be mad to cut over half their market off from playing what is expected to be a best selling game of all time. also theres nothing wrong with the xbox, it still has alot of potential, yes the PS3 has a bit more computing power than the xbox, but the xbox is alot more user friendly and has alot more unique titles than the playstation. i say right now there on par with one another. when the next generation of consoles come out then you can argue all you want. i just hope the next playstation is alot more easier to work with, programming and coding wise :/

The game should definately come out soon. I mean Modern Warfare 3 came out AFTER Battlefield and out sold it by a mile, infact it was the biggest entertainment launch ever.
