June’s Steam weekend deal madness

The month of June is looking up for all of you that are still waiting for the summer to arrive, no we don’t have a good weather forecast, but we do predict to see some great offers this month and it all starts with Steam’s weekend deal madness. It looks like some bargain games will also be available over the next couple of weeks giving us something to look forward to.

Steam have a great weekend lined up for fans of Napoleon: Total War and we will come to that after we mention some of the specials listed this month on SteamPowered.com. Action adventure game Rune Classic was released a couple of days ago and is available for £7.49, which is half price, and the Indie simulation known as SOL: Exodus is down from £7.99 to £6.79. From Wednesday Bang Bang Racing is down form £6.99 to
£5.59, and Quantum Conundrum is available from 21st June and will be accessible for £17.99 cut from £19.99.

Sid Meier’s Civilization V – Gods and Kings is a strategy game coming out on the 22nd Jun for £26.99 reduced from £29.99 and Tiny and Big: Grandpa’s Leftovers is the indie platformer available from 19th Jun down from £7.99 to £7.19. Referring to the our earlier tease of Napoleon: Total War we thought we would save this until last, as this game is free to play this weekend starting now on Steam, and those who want to play on afterwards can do so at a half price discount.

Starting yesterday until Sunday, June 17, CVG report on Sega tearing the price tag off its immense PC RTS Napoleon: Total War this weekend. For those who want to try it out this a great opportunity to download it for free from now until Sunday at 5pm Greenwich meantime or 9am PST, and anyone requiring more time to play past this date can buy the game for half price until Monday 18 June at the same time.

Those interested in this would be wise to start downloading now to get the most out of the playing time available. As this game has already received decent review scores, will this be one that you will try out for yourself? Are there any other deals that take your fancy?
