Desire for Bad Company 3 on PS4 and Xbox 720
Having already known that the Frostbite 2 engine powered Battlefield 3, it came as no surprise to us that the engine was built for next-gen consoles in mind, as this was obvious because of the many bugs in the engine. The reason for this was because BF3 was running at the limits of what the current-gen systems can handle, and this has now led to what version of the franchise will be on the PS4 and the Xbox 720 first, and one of the most popular choices is Bad Company 3.
Knowing that Battlefield 3 was running on an engine designed for next-gen consoles is a little confusing because EA had said that BF3 was designed for the PC first and consoles second, so what is it to be – talk about confusion?
There have been calls for Bad Company 3 to be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360, but from what we can see from many fans of the series it’s looking more likely that it could be a next-gen release when you consider EA already has the next-gen engine developed. There is a slim chance that it could be BF4, but BC3 it the more obvious choice.
Depending who you ask Bad Company 2 was more of a fun game than Battlefield 3, but then that’s just personal opinion and let’s not forget that for the most part Battlefield 3 is a superb game. Maybe they might use what is good from both games and then implement them into the next game from the franchise whatever that may be.
