Update addresses Max Payne 3 concerns
An update from Rockstar Games is now available to address many of your Max Payne 3 concerns and we are interested to see what fixes are expected. To get an insight into the problems this is set to rectify we have had a look at a list compiled for gamers to search through.
Everything from multiplayer tuning and spawn point tweaking, to stability and load times are mentioned on Just Push Start along with adjustments to the weapon balancing. One of the first things listed is a reduction in hardcore playlist requirement from 5,000 to 1,000 as well as a fix for gold textures not unlocking on DLC weapons. Improvements have been made for XP display not incrementing between Rank 49 and Rank 50 along with an issue where the game could autosave immediately before a death screen.
Other problems addressed have been a fix for Rank 50 trophy not unlocking and Unlimited Bullet Time cheat not unlocking, and situations have been tackled where the scope weapons incorrectly change to the wrong stick for users playing with inverted vertical axis. Gamers commenting on some issues encountered have questioned whether this update has failed to rectify more issues that are prominent.
Problems have occurred with load screens to nowhere, freezing issues, volume dropping completely and the lack of audio commentary for recollecting clues. Some have said that these issues were initially there when the game was released and suggest that deleting the game data can sometimes fix this, although they still experience audio drops where it would go a whole cut scene without any sound.
Relating to this topic, at the beginning of the month we spoke about a newly released patch for Max Payne 3 on the PC, and we are interested to see what other issues have been experienced on all formats. The new update is available now for PS3 and Xbox 360 and is expected to relieve gamers of many problems but we are sure there are more that could be addressed. What issues have you come across with Max Payne 3?
