GTA 5 bliss before another trailer
It’s been quite some time since Rockstar released the one and only trailer for Grand Theft Auto V, and we would have assumed by now that we would have heard something more. Well today was a big day, one that will be bliss for fans anxiously waiting to hear more regarding GTA 5 as Rockstar released 2 screenshots and promised more before they even think about another trailer.
The publisher/developer understands that their fans are not happy and tried to ease their minds by saying how important they are to them and do not wish to release any details unless it’s 100 percent correct, and as a way to make amends has released these two new screenshots. Okay, so they’re no new trailer but it’s better than nothing.
In the first image there’s a helicopter flying about and it’s hard to tell just from the image the importance of it, but there’s a good chance that the protagonist is inside. You will also notice the door is open; this makes us feel as though our hero will be able to jump out while hovering.
Because this is a police helicopter it makes us wonder if you will be going after criminals, and that infra-red camera on the front will make it much tougher for them to run away from you. There’s still so much we can learn just from that first screenshot, but what else have you found?
Another hint of flyable aircraft in GTA V or are we still looking too much into it? We know that the open-world will be much larger, but it will need to be huge in order to cater for these aircraft that can cover long distances in a short amount of time.
Then there is that second screenshot, while there is not as much going on it’s certainly a nice view – just wonder what it will have to do with the game? When you consider that these screens were taken from an early build it does feel us with hope about just how awesome the final release will be.
On a final note, Rockstar has said that it will be a while before they release any more information in regards to the game, and if you hear of any news that is not from Rockstar themselves then you should take it as fake. Also if you receive an invite to play a demo of GTA 5 then this could be an online phishing scam, you’ve been warned.
Are you happy with these Grand Theft Auto V screenshots or do you feel letdown that there is no second trailer?
