Fake GTA 5 level of completion hint
It’s not yet known how long we will have to wait until the release of Grand Theft Auto V, but a recent tweet had fans a little worried, because it was suggested that the level of completion might not be as far ahead as some of us first thought. However, Rockstar has since commented on this and confirmed that the information was in fact fake.
In the original piece of news had us believe that Dan C was an employee of Rockstar and seemed to shock fans when he said that if GTA 5 was going to take another 5 years then it would be worth the wait, and even though he said it would not take that long until the game is completed and released, it would have still angered fans of Grand Theft Auto to think that they may have to wait a while longer.
It didn’t take long for gamers to realize that something wasn’t right with the Twitter account of Dan C, because while it could have been that of Dan Conti, the lead Rockstar programmer. The biggest clue that this was fake was the news itself, as Rockstar is not known for leaking or commenting on such details. Only last week they said that it will be some time before any news is shared on GTA V, although they might leak some more screenshots to add to the two released last week.
Rockstar seems to do just enough to keep their fans happy, but we’re not sure how much longer they are prepared to wait for any more news in regards to a new trailer, expected features and even a confirmed release date. It seems silly to release a trailer so long ago and then not mention any more, but let’s face it the media machine has been doing all they can to keep GTA 5 in the spotlight, as have we.
Are you now starting to worry that the game will not be released in 2012 or are you happy in the knowledge that Rockstar are taking their time to give use a game that will be truly worth the wait? We suggested that Sony could take advantage of the release of Grand Theft Auto V with a PS3 Super Slim bundle, as this could be an ideal way to shift more units and keep sales of this rumored console up even though some would rather wait until the release of the PS4 – whenever that may be.

I would like to confirm here that all the people who are claiming they know when it will be released, are mentally retarded !! Also they are about to spunk over the game like the rest of us !!

All they have mentioned is, from their Newswire, regarding information, is that "if you don't hear it from here it is probably mostly fakes and almost definately not the complete truth". Once again, and correct me if I am wrong again, this is more amateurish 'journalism' from the Chubby Brothers.
Cannot wait for it to be released so the Chubb Brothers can't lure people to their site with fake or bullshit "news" on gta V
"Rockstar has since commented on this and confirmed that the information was in fact fake." - Where can I find this comment from Rockstar Mr Chubb?
I can confirm march 14th 2014 due to major development set backs. Completion rate is at about 40% more info will be released in 3 weeks...
The only way you could know that is if you worked for R*, and if you did I doubt you would be broadcasting it on the internet...
Rockstar can take as long as they want. They're developing one of the most anticipated entertainment products of the decade with the industry and consumers on their backs expecting a masterpiece to be produced. If I were a Rockstar employee I'd be getting pissed off with people like you telling me and my colleagues to 'hurry up' when we're trying to do just that.
True say, but when they did release two images, they could have released a few more than that so that everyone would shut up
They said when they released the new screens that they don't want to spoil the game. I agree with them. The less information now, the more special the game will be when you actually play it because there will be more suprises. Two screens is a nice little taster and proves the game is on track without pouring out too much information like many other games...
its not like im asking for the game to be released tommorow im just sayin that another couple of screenshots or mayb a new trailer would be nice.
