Costly Black Ops 2 accessory
With Black Ops 2 set to become the biggest selling game of the year (well we’re uncertain when GTA 5 will be released) it’s obvious that third parties will want to cash in on the game. Whenever a huge title is released there is more often than not a whole bunch of accessories available to purchase for it, but we’re a little concerned that one accessory in particular is a little too costly.
The product in question is the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Ear Force Tango headset from Turtle Beach and while we would have to agree that this limited edition headset does look awesome, that $300 price tag will be more than enough to put all but the die-hard fans off. Even though we can clearly see that these headphones will come packed with a range of cool features, we still can’t get over that high price and we’re sure this will be the case for most other Call of Duty fans.
To truly enjoy the Black Ops 2 experience you will need to immerse yourself and what better way than with a headset like the Ear Force Tango, as there are a host of audio presets to cater for personal tastes. Then there are the built-in voice prompts from actual characters within the game, so if you are powering the device on or off you will be notified of this by a Black Ops 2 voice actor.
Because you will be playing the game for hours at a time you will need to know that what you have on your ears will not begin to ache after a while, so you’ll be pleased to know that the headset will come with memory foam ear cushions that will shape perfectly around your ears.
If you do not wish for people to hear your real voice while in the middle of an online game then you can disguise your voice with the morphing feature. However, the best part is the fact that these headphones are wireless giving you a much greater freedom.
While looking over all these features here we fully understand that the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Ear Force Tango headset is an awesome bit if kit, but still uncertain if they are worth $300.
