Dragon’s Dogma 2 custom quest ability
Having known for some time that Dragon’s Dogma 2 was a dead cert it was only a matter of time before fans started to discuss what they would like to see from the sequel. The second game from the franchise was announced not long after the release of the original because of the success it has had, and looking at what the director of the upcoming game has in store for us there’s a lot to be excited about.
Whenever a developer has a vision for a game they are never able to fully realize this dream because of certain constraints, but a sequel is a little different because developers are usually allowed to be far more creative – you only have to look at Diablo 2 to see this. It’s for this reason why Dragon’s Dogma 2 will have elements that never made it to the original game, along with being a much bigger game as well.
It’s been reported that the first game was not fully realized because 30 to 40 percent was left out, but you can be certain that a greater percentage of the ideas will make it to the sequel. One of those ideas that never made it to the first game was a custom quest ability, so the smart money would be for this feature to make it to Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Being able to create your very own custom quest would make the game far more enjoyable and give you a greater control over the game, we also like the idea of being able to perform jump grabs on an enemy. The idea of having a far bigger sequel with more features will certainly appeal to many gamers, and for those who are still on the fence as to whether the current version of the game is for them or not, then we ask that you give the demo a try and let us know your opinion.
Having a larger map was always going to be at the top of fans list for the sequel, along with a better travel system and being able to swim. However, one of the most requested features is to have more races within the game, but what races would you like to see make it to Dragon’s Dogma 2?
If the custom quest ability does make it into the sequel then what bizarre quests could you come up with?
