Extra Assassin’s Creed 3 content for PS3
Those who own a PlayStation 3 and are waiting patiently for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3 will happy to know that there is an extra 60 minutes of exclusive content planned for the PS3. By looking on the cover on an Amazon.co.uk update of the product, you can how this news has come to light, although we can understand that PC, Xbox 360 and Wii U customers will not appreciate this.
The image in question clearly states that this is a PS3 exclusive edition, however earlier in the year this was suggested by Ubisoft at the E3 Expo. Reporting on the confirmation, Pluggedin ask the pressing question of what is involved, because it has been hinted that four additional single-player missions for PS3 will be on offer, although no ‘official’ information relates to what is contained in these missions or the objectives.
By looking at the presented image, we now know that these missions will take players approximately 60 minutes to complete. In other news, less concrete leaks are reported on Gameranx as series of cryptic tweets made on the official Assassin’s Creed account indicates that Ubisoft may have an ARG planned for the game. Since this has become apparent Ubisoft has “denied” that the tweets were anything but intentional, stating that the Twitter account had been taken over by what the company refers to as technical issues, and Ubisoft has apologized for the disruption.
At the beginning of the week we informed our readers of news that there will be no Assassin’s Creed 3 multiplayer beta and Ubisoft Annecy Multiplayer game director Damien Kieken spoke about this normally being an ideal situation that gets plenty of feedback, so why not? What do you think about the exclusive extra content for the PS3 version?
