Potential of GTA 5 in 3D revisited
Looking at the potential of 3D gaming there is still an air of skepticism about whether this could just be another fad, even though there has been some decent attempts at this with Battlefield 3 on PC, and apparently Uncharted 3 and Killzone 3. With popular titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations not fairing so well in this area, we are concerned whether there is potential for this in Grand Theft Auto V.
With this in mind it has been said that using 3D to add more depth to a game is not the best way to tackle this situation and What Culture discuss the need for more aggressive tactics that enhances gameplay. In this, they talk about the HUD being adapted in 3D to create a separation between HUD and game, GTA 5 was mentioned as the ideal candidate with a mini-map, and the depth of area in titles like GTA V would really be something to admire.
The idea that a zooming scope would reach further into a deeper layer could be more than just a cosmetic effect with the opportunity to snipe over great distances could work if it was done in the right way, deeming this more than just another phase. Concerned about what the general public think on this matter we had a look at the reaction from fans, and 3D gaming does not feature highly in gamers lives with many regarding it as a fad and a large majority have no intention to buy a 3D television. Although this will need much more time to utilize it, many understand that this seems to be the direction of future gaming, even though there is not much call it for by GTA fans.
As we eagerly wait for more substantial news, it is fair to say that we are one of many scratching around for new information on the game and last week we spoke about Rockstar’s forgotten title known as Agent. It has been said that this has been expected for sometime we were wondering if this would be an eventual PS4 release. In addition, our previous post looked at some of the facts as opposed to the rumors concerning Grand Theft Auto 5. What do you think about the potential of GTA 5 in 3D?

I like the idea of 3D games, but I honestly think its not perfected yet. I don't think I'd be interested in buying a special tv to play a game or watch a movie in the 3rd dimension, until they are made to be pretty much like virtual reality, as if you are literally in the game. I would have thought they'd be working a little faster to achieve this already,
"Looking at the potential of 3D gaming there is still an air of skepticism about whether this could just be another far-" "With popular titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations not fairing so well in this area, we are concerned whether there is potential for this in Grand Theft Auto V." The first paragraph of this so-called article made me want to say STFU! GTA in 3D, simply put not gonna happen, obviously not gonna happen, undoubtedly not gonna happen, they don't need 3D and you don't need to make up theories and so-called allegations about things to come in GTA V off of one trailer, ONE! the trailer itself didn't look 3D compatible, why the blue hell would they have to follow a fad that no intelligent person follows just to make money, and the fact that it would only happen on the PS3 for that fact is retarded, with most players now-a-days play on a 360. I couldn't believe you said that it cold possibly be a PS4 release. Really, when the trailer showed was obviously made for current-gen consoles, you think that, even though the PS4 is obviously getting a better graphics card, you believe that? This to me sounds like a person that wold have a interview with Sam Houser about another game, then automatically change the topic to GTAV, knowing full well that theres no valid info out for it, knowing that he won't give any real info about it, and would constantly annoying with questions about it to the point where it aggravates him. This article is utterly invalid, especially if none of the GTA info from the last, like, 4 articles on the site did not come from R* in any way. Period, point blank.
Lol your an idiot Uncharted 3 & Killzone 3 had great 3D, stop trying to boost GTAV at every corner its really starting to where thin...the game is average at best, fan-boys just like to over-hype factors that is doesn't really have; Its like the whole GTAV looks Next-Gen, No it doesn't LOL any fool who assumes that is kidding themselves I mean seriously if you think that looks Next-Gen, then I'm calling Pokemon Sapphire Next-Gen...
I agree with you on that fact that GTA 5 looks nothing like a next gen game. However, I wouldn't call GTA 5 average. I would give it a 7/10 based on the trailer assuming 5/10 is average.
You guys are just raving as usual, aren't you? Stupid shithead has got no news on GTA 5 but is just filling columns.
