FIFA 13 and “True Realism” demo experience
A recent hands-on experience of FIFA 13 at the Gamescom event held in Cologne, was the ideal situation to try out some of the smarter AI involved in this eagerly anticipated title. The footage from the demonstration showed off the new skill games mode that takes the place of the arena mode, which is seen to be a decent improvement for those waiting for their game to load.
One of the many lucky gamers that got the chance to try the new game out was Youtube user, Calfreezy who got the opportunity to check out the new enhanced first touch, which is a big part of the many improvements to the game. Reporting this, Gameranx highlights the “True Realism” as Calfreezy describes the demo experience, and the fine balance of AI attacking and defending, although there will be some more tweaks made before the game is done. The overall impression is that mastering the skill moves will be much harder than in the previous titles.
As many leagues across Europe have already kicked off, many gamers are now in the zone for the new FIFA title and news of the cover is mentioned on the Gaming Bolt website. On the front Messi will be accompanied by Arsenal’s Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain and Man City’s England number 1, Joe Hart, so this shows that poor old Wayne Rooney has gone down the pecking order as it is the first time the overrated Manchester United striker has not been on the cover since 2005.
Last month we wrote about Messi on the cover of FIFA 13 and since then the news of the other two England players has come to light. Although Cristiano Ronaldo is now on the cover of PES 2013, we wonder if Chamberlain and Hart are really the world class acts we want to see alongside the best player on the planet. What players would you choose?
In addition, our most recent FIFA 13 article spoke about the 3D face capture system, and news of Tottenham Hotspur Football players being taken to have their heads scanned for the upcoming game. In the video shown, which Arsenal fans may find this a bit hard to digest. Gareth Bale and old friend David Bentley are featured talking about the game, and many others get to state their preference, Ronaldo or Messi, and there seems to be not much in it. Although many leagues are now underway we are sure that there will be plenty of attention paid over the next couple of weeks before the transfer market closes. Are you dieing to get your FIFA 13 season underway?
