Lack of Diablo 3 endgame content answered

The lack of Diablo 3 endgame content has been acknowledged by Blizzard and they have answered the problem with the new ‘Paragon System’, which is coming in patch 1.0.4. This patch is expected to look into issues with Magic Find gear-swapping giving players who have reached level 60 an extended progression system, according to the developer.

Once you have hit level 60, any further experience you accumulate from killing monsters will start to go toward Paragon levels. Reporting Blizzard’s comments CVG mention the 100 Paragon levels, which reward players with each level adding to stats such as, Strength, Intelligence, Vitality and Dexterity, in similar amounts to that experienced in a normal level. This will extend the endgame longevity and they detail all the information on this.
