iPhone 5 launch event: Live blog time
Love them or hate them there’s no getting away from the excitement level when it comes to an Apple event, and next weeks iPhone 5 launch event is no exception. Apple has now officially invited the press to what we all assume will be the unveil of the next iPhone, so now we finally know what the live blog time will be for when reporters begin to feed us information as Tim Cook delivers his keynote.
Below we will give you those live blog times by certain time zones, so for some you will need to stay up late or get up early, whatever the case may be. We’re still not certain what the event is being held for, but the smart money is on the iPhone 5, although it’s also been suggested that the event will not be solely about the new iPhone and could also feature the new range of iPod’s as well.
The Apply keynote is due to begin at 10AM PT in San Francisco, below we have converted the time for your time zone, click on the image to make it larger. To help wet your appetite further in anticipation for this event we thought we would go over a few rumors in regards to the iPhone 5 and what benefits it will be to gamers.
Firstly there are those rumors of the A6 chip, if these are true then we could see the new iPhone being able to handle far more graphic intensive games. However, Apple will need to increase the RAM, which they are expected to do. The biggest change should be with the display, as Apple are expected ti increase this to 4 inches, although they are only stretching the length and looks set to stick with the same width. Now some iPhone 5 fans are all in favor of this, but personally we feel if this is true then Apple have lost touch and are just trying to rehash something they already have.
Samsung are not having the success they are having by just sticking with the same design, they understand that consumers what something new a fresh looking, something that the iPhone 5 might not be – then again this is only if we are to believe those images that have been doing the rounds on the Internet.
