Negotiate 80 fun-packed levels on the New Super Mario Bros. 2
In case you’ve not heard the news, the New Super Mario Bros.2 game for the Nintendo 3DS has just been released. If you’re considering getting yourself a copy, possibly as part of Nintendo 3DS console bundles, you will need a few tips on how to negotiate the 80 thrilling levels and earn yourself the sought-after million coin target.
Here’s our at-a-glance guide to the new Super Mario Bros game:
The story – The New Super Mario Bros 2 game is similar to previous Mario Bros games in its storyline. Mario and Luigi set out to collect coins and defeat foes in 80 levels as part of their quest to rescue Princess Peach from the clutches of Bowser and his bothersome minions.
Game worlds and courses – As we’ve mentioned, there are around 80 courses to complete in the New Super Mario Bros game, and these take you through a number of different worlds. It all starts in World 1 in the Mushroom Kingdom, with scenarios you may recognise from previous Mario Bros games. The further you go in the game, the more worlds you discover!
What’s new? – Consider New Super Mario Bros 2 as a polished and revitalised version of previous Mario games, with lots of bright, shiny new features. These include new Power-ups, local wireless and online multiplayer options and a unique new challenge mode called Coin Rush, where you get one chance to complete three stages with one Mario, to collect as many coins as possible.
Oh, and did we mention that the new Super Mario Bros.2 is only available in glorious, stereoscopic 3D on the Nintendo 3DS (and, the new, super-sized Nintendo 3DS XL) console?
