Medal of Honor: Warfighter protagonist chase gameplay trailer
A recently released Medal of Honor: Warfighter gameplay trailer by Electronic Arts has given us the chance to see the game’s protagonist, Tier 1 Operator Preacher in action. We have also obtained some insight into what should be expected from the game with an informative hands-on preview.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is scheduled to come out on the 23rd of October in the US and the 26th in the UK and CVG mentions some of what is involved in the video footage of the game. It seems as if the main protagonist is trying to chase down a terrorist sniper that is loose in Karachi, Pakistan, and the fact that this could be his only connection to finding out who’s behind a global terror threat, shows how persistent you need to be to hunt this type of character down.
In addition to this, the Medal of Honor: Warfighter beta release date is scheduled later on today and we were informed it goes live exclusively on the Xbox 360 in about 2 hours time around 17.00pm, UK time. Venture Beat gives us their impression of the game with an extensive hands-on preview and they find that areas of concern like the Middle East and Somalia are an ideal setting that gives some variation to what has been experienced in the popular stories of Call of Duty.
As far as stories go this title adds depth to the super soldiers involved and the main protagonist has to cope with a broken family as well as the stress that comes with constant fighting, so his hard luck story gives him more of a connection with the soldiers he is helping. Although this aspect of this title is appreciated, the gameplay does match up and from what they have experienced, these two parts don’t join up.
Those interested in Medal of Honor Warfighter collector’s edition will find this game is exclusive to EB and will cost $118, containing an accessories case, the limited edition game and content. A collectors T-Shirt and Digital Content that includes Trijicon Optics 3 Pack for the HK416 Weapon and U.S. SFOD-D Point Man Early Access. This also comes with the opportunity to get involved in the Battlefield 4 Beta that will be available early in the new year.
When it comes to the Medal of Honor: Warfighter Beta our most recent post regarding the game spoke about a countdown to this test of the game, although some PS3 gamers are not overly impressed that this is an Xbox Live exclusive considering this franchise started on the PlayStation. Do you feel that EA will lose plenty of fans because of their loyalty to the Xbox?
