Medal of Honor: Warfighter eye candy highlights engine
Going by some recently released screenshots of Medal of Honor: Warfighter, this game is visually impressive and Electronic Arts feel this shows off the Frostbite 2, as the best first-person shooter engine around. The eye candy available gives gamers an insight of how good this title is looking, as EA have confidently released these screens for all to share.
The screenshots on offer come via EA’s official blog and we have chosen to show our readers two out of three available. Highlighting the engine the images are discussed on the Gamepur website and they document comments from Electronic Arts about how “Medal of Honor Warfighter will deliver an awesome experience” focusing on the great visuals and an impressive audio. Everything from in-depth visual detail to extreme sound affects will be encountered throughout with realistic scenery all set in locations from around the globe.
In our most recent Warfighter post, we spoke about details still appearing with a week to go until it comes out, we highlighted an image of the box art that re-iterates an invite to Battlefield 4 beta. By the time the BF4 beta will be available (early next year) we expect many gamers will be Warfighter veterans, and will be hoping to try out the Battlefield 4 beta. Apparently, this is not exclusive to those buying Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and we are hoping EA will give us more information on who else will be included in this test game.

Before this, we entertained the more skeptical approach made by some questioning the longevity of Warfighter and whether this edition will go the distance, considering the Call of Duty Black Ops sequel will arrive not long after. We mentioned many improvements that should set Warfighter in good stead, although some questions have been asked about whether this franchise is the same old thing. We understand this version is expected to be the best Medal of Honor game, so we hope the amount of realism involved will make this stand out from other shooters.
An article on Gamezone has given us cause to research the Swedish SOG who were previously known as SSG and SIG. The reason for the interest is because the report mentions how many Medal of Honor players there are in Sweden and that DICE is offering the SOG Spec Ops soldier early for those who have also experienced Battlefield. Loyal Swedish fans will be pleased to know that their countries pride operatives are getting credit for the SOG qualities of close quarters and sneak attacks as well a their expertise in the field of Intel.
As far as the weapons they use are concerned the AK4, AK5 and the G36 will be available along with the Mk18 carbine from Daniel Defense. What do you think of the recent images? Do you feel the Frostbite 2 engine and new improvements will give the likes of Black Ops 2 a run for their money?
