BioShock Infinite: New trailer release and spin-off
After months of silence from BioShock Infinite studio Irrational, a new trailer for the game looks pretty impressive, and although it is only 90 seconds long, we get a little glimpse of this ambitious attempt to create a title really worth waiting for. With the title being held up by delays, many gamers were probably expecting this to come out earlier, although by viewing the new trailer, we know there is a great title releasing after Christmas, to start of 2013 with something to look forward to.
Those wanting to know when the game becomes available will be pleased to know the scheduled BioShock Infinite release date is February 26th 2014, and the explosive trailer is highlighted on the CVG blog-site, in which they talk about the emergence after such a long period of darkness. The footage shows the flying city Columbia in a light that Irrational intended and looks like it will be grand in scale with well implemented locations and amazing scenery, along with great action showing ways to use the Sky-Hook, as well as making use of Elizabeth in combat situations.
In other BioShock Infinite news, CVG mention the sighting of a puzzle spin-off game, which can be obtained by those reserving their copy with US retailer GameStop. This will involve 50 levels of flash-based puzzles known as Industrial Revolution, and according to NeoGAF this pre-order title will also allow players to earn in-game items. In addition, our most recent post about BioShock Infinite, we spoke about creative director Ken Levine’s comments that this title will not be seen until it is time to box it up.

While we entered a countdown to the new BioShock Infinite trailer release we also spoke about rumors accumulating about a multiplayer mode, and the amount of time it has been delayed. Do you feel BioShock Infinite is shaping up to be one of the biggest hits for the New Year?
