New Halo 4 gameplay trailer, teases story and graphics
The Halo 4 live action trailer from a few days ago certainly got the gaming juices going, and now 343i has felt the need to tease us once again with a new Halo 4 trailer, which features some gameplay moments. What better way to show off the story behind the game and also those great looking graphics as well?
We’ve already been hearing from some of our readers hoping they could fall asleep now and wake up on November 6th – now that’s dedication. The length of this trailer is just 1 minute and 1 second; so one would presume that this would be used for the Halo 4 TV commercial, let’s hope it’s soon.
The trailer comes with the tagline “An Ancient Evil Awakens”, which as we know refers to the Prometheans. These are the new antagonists who Master Chief has to go head to head with, and we can safely say that they look far meaner than his previous enemies. We gave you some idea of how terrifying the race will look with this Promethean Crawler animation prototype video.

The plot has certainly gotten the fans interested, as they had assumed that the Fallen were the greatest threat, so just how bad are these Promethean’s? We can see that a few gamers will view this trailer and think that it looks a lot more like CGI, but 343i has already confirmed that this is in-game footage, which just shows you how they have improved the graphics over Halo: Reach.
Halo 4 is said to be a new beginning for the franchise because it’s the start of a new trilogy, very much like Mass Effect 4 will be. There’s always a great anticipation at a start of a new chapter in a franchise, because there’s always that slight fear that it will take some time to gain traction. However, we’re sure that this will not be the case for Halo 4.
